Gula Melaka Kaya

I've used my Zojiroshi bread maker's 'Jam' function previously to make myself some Homemade Kaya. This time I've done another batch using gula melaka for that rustic flavour.

Homemade Peanut Butter

I have finally gotten to make my own peanut butter! I would never have imagined it could be so fast and easy to make this bread spread.

Kaya Pancake

After making a batch of Homemade Kaya, I made use of this jam spread on my usual Peanut Pancake recipe and ended up with Kaya Pancake for breakfast.

Homemade Kaya

So far I've only used my Zojiroshi bread maker for making bread dough, pizza dough and baking bread. I finally made use of its 'Jam' function to make myself some healthy and delicious Homemade Kaya recently.

Salted Caramel Sauce

Salted caramel....they seem to be everywhere....and anything that has this luscious, smooth, buttery, sweet and salty ingredient incorporated is just simply heavenly awesome!

This has been in my to-do list for the longest time. Glad that I've finally set aside some time to make this homemade salted caramel sauce. This will definitely be perfect to be used to make a host of other salted caramel desserts.

Black Beauty Kaya Bun

I've been making charcoal buns with kaya after making Black Beauty Chocolate Chip Bun here. I've been asked if the recipe needs to be tweaked. The answer is no. I used the same bread recipe and wrapped kaya in the buns.

It's soft, moist and yummy!!

10 Minute Homemade Kaya

I love Kaya but the thought of having to stand for at least an hour by the stove to stir the kaya deterred me from attempting making my own homemade kaya

I changed my mind when I learnt I don't need to do the stirring myself as a bread machine can be used to make jam and kaya. But this will still take 1 to 1 1/2 hours to make.

This was why I was super excited when I saw Kitchen Tigress' post on her 10-Minute Kaya. I knew immediately I had to try making it.

Pumpkin Kaya

I love kaya. Love it so much that I can eat it on its own. It's not that healthy as there are lots of eggs used to make kaya traditionally. So this Pumpkin Kaya recipe that I chanced upon got me really excited, because no eggs are required at all!
