Spiced Apple Walnut Cupcakes (Giada De Laurentiis)
Chanced upon this wonderful recipe from Giada's 'Weeknights with Giada' and bookmarked it immediately. What attracted me was the use of apples in baking cupcakes and having wonderful ingredients like pumpkin pie spices in the bake. The spices conjured up so much festive mood in me!

Fried Carrot Cake (Black)
Fried Carrot Cake is another of my favourite local hawker fare. A Teochew delicacy, it is called Chai Tau Kway” (菜头粿) in teochew dialect. Some have it for breakfast, some for supper, and there are others like me who will eat it anytime of the day! Lol!

Easy Apple Pie
Thursday, 4 September 2014
Pumpkin Rice is a dish that I've always enjoyed with a bowl of soup at local hawker centres and food courts in Singapore. We get to choose either plan rice or pumkin rice. The latter will always be my choice even though we need to pay slightly more.
