Orh Nee is a Teochew dessert that I enjoy since young. Whenever I attend any chinese wedding dinner, this would be a dish that I would look forward to if served for desserts.

This really caught my eye. A refreshing bowl of Taro & Sweet Potato Sago dessert with a beautiful purple hue served chilled....simply heaven!

I had my first taste of this delectable dessert many years back on my first holiday trip to Taiwan. I remembered it was autumn when I went there. The dessert was served warm and it was such a fantastic feeling eating the QQ balls in the cool weather. Loved it at first bite!
