My friend Agnes has asked me for corn bread recipe as her son loves it. I've shared the Corn Bread Loaf recipe I used but I thought the corn taste may be a little too subtle for her son. So I experimented further and tweaked the recipe and the outcome...Thumbs up! My hubby and daughter tried it and both preferred this new version!

Pineapple tarts and Pineapple balls are the all time favourites for many during Chinese New Year. This treat is a must have item. I remembered my cousins and I would try this out at every household we visited to see who had the best melt-in-the-mouth pineapple tarts/balls. Thereafter we would probably too full to have lunch or dinner! Lol!

I made a batch of bread buns for our breakfast and for my girl to bring to school for her snack. I added purple sweet potato to the bun and had kaya as fillings to the buns. Simply love the sight of purplish pink buns!

I was so excited when I saw some purple sweet potato at the supermarket. This is not commonly found unlike the orange-colored sweet potato. Without any hesitation, I bought some home.

This rich and delectable butter cake was highly recommended by my friend Meng Choo. She has made many mouth-watering muffins using this butter cake as the base and incorporated all types of variations. It was such a pleasure to look at her creations!
