4 Happiness (大四喜)

I've made some chilled beancurd yesterday and decided to assemble this super refreshing dessert together with the sweet potato balls made earlier and along with store-bought grass jelly and red beans.

This dessert I've assembled is inspired by the popular Taiwanese dessert that I enjoy, only this time I did not have the tapioca pearls and yam balls that I like chewing on. But if you intend to make some for yourself, feel free to add these in.

I love variety in a bowl!!

4 Happiness (大四喜)

Ingredients:
A few generous scoops of chilled beancurd (Click here for homemade chilled beancurd recipe)
Some orange sweet potato balls (Click here for homemade orange sweet potato balls recipe)
Some purple sweet potato balls (Click here for homemade purple sweet potato balls recipe)
Some cubed grass jelly (I use store bought)
A spoonful of cooked red beans (I use canned red beans)
Sugar Syrup (dissolve brown sugar/rock sugar to hot water - to taste)

Method:
1. In a serving bowl, scoop some chilled beancurd.
2. Add a few orange and purple sweet potatoes balls, a spoonful of cubed grass jelly and cooked red bean.

3. Pour some sugar syrup over.
4. Serve chilled.

Note:
- As this dessert is best served chilled, the prepared ingredients can first be kept chilled in the fridge first before assembly.
- Can also add some ice cubes to keep the dessert cold.
