Pineapple tarts and Pineapple balls are one of my favourite snacks during Chinese New Year. I've always been using the recipe here and this time round I've adapted the recipe slightly and added custard powder to make it even more fragrant.

I was trying to look for the Melt-in-the-Mouth German Cookies I made several years back and realised I've not included the recipe in my blog.
So I referred to Happy Home Baking's blog again to search for this recipe. Her blog was among the first few blogs that I referred to when I first picked up baking again after a long hiatus.

I made a batch of these yummy Butter Sugar Buns for breakfast and was an instant hit with my family, especially my daughter, who is a huge fan of butter sugar buns. My family and I had a really hearty breakfast indeed!

I baked a batch of Red Velvet Cupcakes (recipe found here) recently for my nephew's first month baby shower and had frosted the cupcakes with Cream Cheese Swiss Meringue Buttercream.
For normal frostings on cakes and cupcakes, I will use the Swiss Meringue Buttercream (SMBC) recipe here. However, for red velvet cakes, I will add in whipped cream cheese to my SMBC have a Cream Cheese Swiss Meringue Buttercream.
