Sparkling Iced Plum Soda

I've recently bought a few bottles of Ice-Cream Soda from the supermarket and made myself a really uplifting and refreshing drink amidst this hot weather. 

My hubby and I had tried to 'concoct' various versions of the 'Sparkling Iced Plum Drink' that we had when we were at a friend's place for the Lunar New Year celebrations many years back. We really loved the drink and tried to replicate it using Sprite and 7-Up with the plum powder that's available at the local supermarket. However, our attempts had not been successful...until recently...

You see, I have this packet of plum powder from Taiwan. I had intended to have it with guava. Then when I saw the Ice-Cream Soda in my fridge, the thought of trying to make the 'Sparkling Iced Plum Drink' struck me again.

It's really so simple to make this refreshing beverage. All you need is ice-cream soda, plum powder and ice cubes!!

I've been craving for this ever since our recent successful attempt!

 
Sparkling Iced Plum Soda
makes 1 serving

Ingredients:
1 cup Ice-Cream Soda drink
1 tsp plum powder
2-3 plum (optional)
some ice cubes

Method:
1. In a glass, add some ice-cubes to the ice-cream soda.

2. Stir in 1 tsp plum powder till well mixed. (It will bubble so make sure the drink is not too full or it will overflow)

3. Stir in some plum.

3. Serve chilled.
