Avocado Milkshake


My family was having a lazy Sunday out in town for lunch and then chanced upon this wonderful grocery shop that was selling these gorgeous power fruit - AVOCADO

I couldn't resist and bought some home and made ourselves some healthy AVOCADO MILKSHAKE with just 3 ingredients - Avocado, Milk and Honey.

Other than having a beverage rich in calcium from the milk, we are also getting loads of health benefit from Avocados.

Known also as an alligator pear or butter fruit, avocado is a stone fruit with a creamy and buttery texture. Avocado provides loads of healthy mono-unsaturated fatty acids and is a naturally nutrient-dense food that contains many vitamins and minerals.

Avocado Milkshake
serve 4

Ingredients:
1 ripe avocado meat 
800ml milk
5 tbspn honey or to taste
some ice cubes


Method:
1. Cut avocado into two and scrap out the avocado meat.



2. Put the avocado meat, milk, honey and some ice cubes into a blender and give it a good blitz until well blended.



3. Serve chilled.
