Homemade Peanut Butter

I have finally gotten to make my own peanut butter! I would never have imagined it could be so fast and easy to make this bread spread.

Yes, you can make your own peanut butter in less than 2 minutes if you have all the prepared ingredients on hand! It is as easy as ABC!

Homemade Peanut Butter

Ingredients
100g roasted peanuts (see notes below)
1 tbspn toasted white sesame seeds
1/2 tbspn rolled oats
1 tbspn honey
1/4 tsp sea salt
4 tbspn coconut oil (can also use peanut oil)

Method
1. Blitz rolled oats and toasted sesame seeds in a blender.

2. Blend roasted peanuts and 1 tbspn oil in a blender till smooth.

3. Add in the blended rolled oats and sesame seeds and continue to blend till well mixed.

4. Add in oil and honey and continue to blend till creamy and smooth.

Notes:

Roasted Peanuts:
Place raw peanuts in a single layer onto baking tray. Sprinkle some salt and bake at 180C for about 8 minutes or until they are golden brown. Stir once or twice or shake the tray to help in even browning.

When done, let cool on cooling rack before storing in an airtight container. (can keep for up to 2 weeks)

  1. LY, your homemade peanut butter certainly very tasty and healthy too. I had homemade peanut butter in the past but because of its short shelf live, I stopped making it. It always took me about 8 months to finish a bottle of peanut butter.
