Candied Roasted Walnut

This is a very additive snack and one of my favorites. Once I start, I just can't stop.

I love these roasted walnuts and the addition of sesame seeds also contribute to the wonderful fragrance of this delectable snack.

I've tried various proportions but this time I adapted the recipe from Miki's Food Archives.

Candied Roasted Walnut
recipe adapted from here

2. In a mixing bowl, add all ingredients together and mix till all walnuts are coated with the honey and golden syrup.

3. Transfer to the prepared baking tray and spread evenly.

4. Bake in preheated oven at 160C for 25 minutes.

5. Remove from oven and place tray on wire rack.

  1. Hi, I liked walnuts. can I check with you if I omitted the golden syrup, will it turn out to be the same? Coz I hv walnuts and honey at home. Otherwise will need to buy golden syrup.
    Thanks & regards

    1. Hi Wendy, I find that golden syrup will be easier to coat the walnut and gives the snack a darker golden colour. But it is also ok to omit. Just replace the amount of golden syrup with honey.
